Brain signals are interpreted in various measures. This paper discusses on a research of suggestion or the new brain reaction index during mental calculation from the EEG signals. Measured brain waves were defined as being divided into brain reaction indexes of time and frequency domains for interpreting. 10 men and women were selected as subjects and they solved mathematical questions to find correlation between brain activities and mental calculation. Skewness, kurtosis, BRI and IPSF was applied to the signals in order to extract the EEG parameters. Experimental results indicated that this feature can represent the activity of the left right brain and concentration during mental calculation.
High regularity is important in manufacturing spun yarn. Among controllers used in regularity control, existing PID controller is suitable for linear time-invariant systems but not for the control of sliver draft systems with non-linear characteristic. Thus, the present study designed a knowledge-based fuzzy controller in consideration of disturbance and non-linear characteristic of sliver draft systems. RLS (Recursive Least Squares) was used as an estimation algorithm to formulate a model used in computer simulation for implementing the controller, and real time estimation was made using real data from draft systems to get a model close to actual systems. This research used a estimation model in designing a knowledge-based controller that minimizes the variation of control response to the sliver linear density of the system, and the result of linear density control was used to prove the superiority of the controller in control performance through CV%.
warfare system, is a device that detects electromagneticwaves radiated from target radar and measures its angle of arrival.Compared to the phase-comparison method, the amplitudecomparisonmethod has simpler system, and it’s easy tominiaturize; however, relatively, its direction finding is lessaccurate, and it has various factors that occur errors. This papersuggests improving for the DF accuracy of the amplitudecomparisonmethod base on analysis of error type and cause. Also, this paper proves the usefulness of the result through the test thatwe suggest for the polarization error that has the greatest effect onthe amplitude-comparison method’s DF accuracy.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
