This study aims to determine the competitiveness and impact of government policies on Unggul Madura Hybrid Maize. The location of the research of corn farming in two villages, namely Duko Tambin and Banyubeseh, Tragah District, Bangkalan, Madura. Determination of the study's location was carried out deliberately (purposive) with consideration in both villages in the development of Unggul Madura Hybrid Maize varieties. The analysis method uses the PAM (Policy Analysis Matrix) matrix. The analysis results show that Unggul Madura Hybrid Maize has quite high competitiveness, which has competitive and comparative advantages. Government policy has a significant impact on Unggul Madura Hybrid Maize farming income, especially on private profits.
Countries in Europe, China and USA are the main destination of Indonesia's CPO exports so that in order to avoid more significant declining in value and export volume because of trade war and the existance of CPO black campaign, Indonesia must take a diversified step, especially for export market diversification. This study illustrates the condition of Indonesian CPO competitiveness in non-traditional markets, measures the position of Indonesia CPO export market attractiveness, and analyzes factors influence CPO exports. Data used are secondary data obtained from various resources. The time series and cross sections data consecutively consist of variables from 2002 to 2017 and 11 nontraditional importing countries. Time series variables consist of volume export of Indonesia CPO, exchange rate, export price, Indonesia GDP, importers GDP, and economic distance. X–model product export potential and gravity model were used to address the objectives. Indonesian CPO has optimistic market development potential because Indonesia CPO has strong competitiveness and in a rising star position.The analysis result with gravity model showed the factors affecting Indonesian CPO export to nontraditional countries was exchange rate, Indonesia GDP, importers GDP, and economic distance. Government role is important to initiate a long term trade agreement which benefits both parties.
Fear of missing out (FoMO) merupakan fenomena takut kehilangan atau tertinggal suatu trend yang dialami oleh masyarakat akibat ketergantungan dengan media sosial. Oleh karena itu hal tersebut sering dimanfaatkan sebagai strategi penjualan agar calon konsumen segera melakukan pembelian dengan cepat. Hal ini menjadi peluang dilakukan penelitian pada produk olahan singkong asli Madura, karena memiliki jenis dan merek produk yang beragam namun tingkat eksistensinya masih rendah. Alat analisis penelitian ini menggunakan diagram fish bone, dan memasukkan faktor brand experience serta FoMO untuk meningkatkan loyalitas konsumen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah non probability sampling secara judgement sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang mempengaruhi loyalitas terhadap produk singkong adalah price, product, people, promotion dan place.
Learning media is a tool that can be used to optimize learning activities. The development of information technology can be utilized to design contemporary learning media, as has been done by lecturers of farming course in the Agribusiness Study Program at the University of Trunojoyo Madura (UTM). The lectures designed an information technology-based learning media, named Si-Cantik. This media has been applied to farming courses on odd semester 2019/2020. In order to find out students' perceptions of this media, a survey was conducted using seven indicators. The number of samples is 33 respondents. The results of the analysis showed that most respondents agreed that Si-Cantik learning media could provide a more detailed understanding of farming plan material, and could improve skills in farming plan made.
