This experimental study shows that transient myocardial ischemia markedly increases the DFT, suggesting that specific defibrillation algorithms should be designed for recipients of implantable defibrillators at risk of myocardial ischemia.

Background: A growing proportion of transplant donors and recipients have a history of COVID-19 infection. This study sought to characterize clinical practice after recipient or donor COVID-19 infection.Methods: An online survey was distributed to heart transplant clinicians through a professional society message board and social media.
