The emergence and evolution of modern learning theories and artificial intelligence technologies have left their mark on education of all levels, but also on other areas of activity, thus facilitating the work of people able to operate with them. Speaking especially of the field of higher education, we can appreciate that this field has been “invaded” by intelligent technologies, generating an increase in the offer of courses, a higher number of students and “recognizing distance learning as an educational model ˮ. We shall further present some of the theories of modern learning, as well as the role of smart technologies recommended for use in modern education.
In general, the service life of a system is determined by its technical characteristics, the nature and magnitude of the stresses to which parts are subjected and the operating, operation and maintenance conditions. For this reason, the article aims to outline the key issues that highlight the factors influencing the service life of infantry weapons and how they do so. The essential elements are pointed out and the influence of each factor in increasing service life is presented, first by component sub-assemblies and then for the armament as a whole.
The method of increasing the technical resource of the 152 mm caliber howitzer, model 1981 aims to improve the construction solution of an essential subassembly of this product’s structure, without affecting the functioning of the howitzer and without diminishing its safety and stability in firing. For this reason, the article aims to highlight the essential aspects of the construction of the guiding and sealing piston of the 152 mm caliber, 1981 model howitzer’s recuperator, using a polymer composite material and to present how the chosen technical solution influences the technical resource of the product.
The condition of the inner surface of the barrels greatly influences the stability of the bullet and the accuracy of firing with infantry weapons. Therefore, it is of particular importance to keep the inside of the barrels in perfect condition and to protect them against corrosion.
For this reason, the article aims to highlight the possible degradation of the inside of the barrels in operation and the main factors influencing their corrosion, in order to counteract their effect. The whole issue is addressed both to the personnel specialized in the design and construction of infantry weapons systems and to the personnel that uses them.
