The purpose of the research was to know physic and chemical characteristics of siamese gouramy fish sauce using three different fermentation processes. This research method used a faktorial randomized block design (FRBD) with two treatment factor and done with three replications. The factor treatment were consists of a type of fermentation (spontaneous, pedioccus halophilus, enzyme papain) and fermentation time (30. 60. 90 day). This research shows that the different of fermentation type and fermentation time had significant effect on yield, pH, ash content, protein content, tvb and interaction between fermentation type and fermentation time had significant effect on chrome. The best product is papain enzyme addition and long fermentation during 90 days that produce the product had yield (58.8%), pH (6.04), ash content (23.82%), protein content (2.46 mg/mL), tvb (94.58 mg/100mg), viskositas (0.65 dPas), lightness (26.6), chrome (2.17), and hue (41)
Aloe vera (L.) Burm.f. of the Asphodelaceae, which probably originated in North Africa is a very short-stemmed succulent, perennial plant of 80-100 cm in height. Today, it is widely grown in the tropics worldwide. It has long been used as a traditional herbal medicine and as cosmetic materials since thousand of years BC in Egypt, China, Greece, etc. It can be used externally to treat various skin conditions and It was useful for curing diabetics, cancer, HIV, even for stress and drug addicts The biologically active components found in the juice of aloe leaves are anthraquinones, acemannan, andprostaglandins. Chunks of aloe pulp are popular as beverages in Asia. Aloe has long been propagated by splitting its off-shoots, and this may account for its narrow genetic variations. In this research, genetic variations of A. vera and A. vera var. Chinensis, were induced by gamma irradiation. In vitro shoots of Aloe were irradiated with gamma ray at the dosage of 10-60 gy, then propagated on Murashige and Skoog (MS) solid medium containing 1 mg/l BAP. The results showed that shootlets of A. vera var. Chinensis were still alive up to 40 gy but the leaves became stiffer, while A. vera only tolerated irradiation up to 20gy. At 50-60 gy, all cultures died after 2 months. Visual observation on irradiated in vitro shoots showed that new variants appeared at the dosage of 20 gy, although in very low frequencies. Leaves became half green and half white in A. vera and white-green-white in A. vera var. Chinensis. Confirmation whether those variants were of genetic or morphological origin needs to be further investigated.

Perkembangan implementasi sistem ekonomi yang sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip syariah diharapkan dapat mendukung tujuan pembangunan untuk kesejahteraan ekonomi dan keadilan sosial. Namun kesemuanya itu perlu adanya konsep dan dasar yang sesuai dengan tuntunan Alquran dan hadis Nabi saw., sehingga diharapkan segala transaksi muamalah yang dilakukan di dunia, selain menguntungkan di dunia, juga bernilaireligius(pahala)di sisi Allah.
Disfungsi seksual merupakan suatu keadaan yang mengalami kesulitan dalam berhubungan seksual. Disfungsi seksual meliputi disfungsi ereksi, impotensi, ejakulasi dini dan gangguan hasrat (libido). Pengatasan gangguan seksual salah satunya dengan menggunakan afrodisiaka. Afrodisiaka merupakan semacam zat perangsang yang dapat meningkatkan gairah seks. Salah satu buah yang memiliki efek afrodisiaka yaitu buah semangka, tepatnya pada lapisan putih pada kulit yang mengandung sitrulin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi afrodisiaka dan jumlah dosis yang efektif dari ekstrak etanol albedo (mesocarp) semangka (EEAS) terhadap mencit dengan menggunakan ICC (Introducing, Climbing and Coitus). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental dengan menggunakan 30 ekor mencit dan dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok. Kelompok I (kontrol negatif) CMC 0,5 %; kelompok II (kontrol positif) jamu pasak bumi; kelompok III; IV;V EEAS dengan dosis 7; 13; dan 27 g/kgBB. Pemberian pada mencit secara oral dan dihitung intensitas ICC. Intensitas ICC dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan metode One Way ANOVA dan uji Post-Hoc Duncan menggunakan SPSS 24.0. Hasil uji statistik intensitas ICC antara kelompok jamu pasak bumi dan EEAS menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan dengan nilai α > 0,05. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa EEAS berpotensi sebagai afrodisiaka pada mencit dengan dosis yang paling efektif sebesar 13 g/kgBB.
Research on the induction of the sapwood of agarwood has been extensively studied, but this has not yet resulted in the dept standard of hole of inoculation and the diameter of trees in order to produce the best sapwood. Therefore, this study aimed to study the depth of the effective inoculation hole to accelerate the formation of agarwood cambium or sapwood in various tree diameters, and to know the interaction of agarwood induction. This research was conducted in Sekadau Hilir district. The design of this research was a nested method. The treatment consisted of tree diameter (i.e., 11.46 cm, 16.56 cm, and 24.20 cm) as the main factor, while the depth of the inoculation hole (i.e., 1 cm, 2 cm, 3 cm, 4 cm, and 5 cm) was the second nesting factor. The hole spacing was 15 cm, which was in each treatment, the depth of the inoculation hole was repeated 5 times. The number of holes consisted of 75. In which the depth of inoculation hole was 3 cm producing an infection on area of 485.13 cm2, brown, and with strong aroma. Tree diameter of 11.46 cm produced 872.92 cm2 of infected area, blackish brown, and with strong aroma. However, the interaction of tree diameter and the dept of hole was not significant toward the area of agarwood infection formed.Keyword: Agarwood, Aquilaria malaccensis, inoculation
