The collagen content in the human body decreases with age. One solution to reduce these negative effects is the application of collagen in various cosmetic and medicinal products. In the bones contain a lot of collagen and one of them is found in the water duck bone that has not been treated and is the result of waste. This study aims to make an anti- aging cream preparation resep from water duck bone collagen that can eliminate wrinkles, blemishes, shrink pores and smooth the skin. This research uses an experimental method using water duck bone test material. Stages of research include extraction of collagen from water duck bone, collagen characterization by infra red spectrophotomenter, making anti- aging cream of water duck bone with concentrations of 1%, 1. 5%, 2. 5%, 3. 5%, formulation and evaluation of cream preparations and test the ability of preparations using a skin analyzer. The results showed that the water duck bone contained collagen at wave numbers 3280- 3380 cm- 1 and 1280- 1680 cm- 1 which indicated the presence of amine and amide groups. Water duck bone collagen can be formulated into cream preparations with the evaluation results of preparations are homogeneous, stable and non- irritating preparations with a pH range of 6. 1 to 6. 4. Test results from collagen cream preparations show that the higher the concentration of collagen added to the resep, the more it will show a significant increase in effect.
Tamarillo (Solanum betaceum Cav.) is a plant that is spread in Java, Bali and North Sumatra, which is rich in nutrients and contain flavonoid as antioxidants that can prevent cell damage due to oxidative stress. Clay-based face masks have a firming and cleansing effect on the skin. Tamarillo was extracted by maceration method using 96% ethanol extract, phytochemical screening was carried out. Clay mask formulation with extract concentration of 1.5%, 2%, 2.5% and blanks. Physical quality test of clay mask preparations included homogeneity test, stability test, pH test, dry time test, irritation test, effectiveness test of clay mask preparation on volunteers using the Skin Analyzer Checkher (Aram), preference test and antioxidant test using the DPPH method. The results showed that the ethanol extract tamarillo contained alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins and could be formulated into a clay mask preparation that was homogeneous, stable, met the pH requirements, and dried time. The results of the effectiveness test using a checkher skin analyzer give the effect of reducing blemishes, reducing pores, moisturizing, not causing irritation to the skin. The antioxidant activity of the ethanol extract tamarillo were in the moderate category with an IC50 value of 201 g/mL and the clay mask preparation of the ethanol extract tamarillo with a concentration of 2.5% was in the medium category with an IC50 value of 221 g/mL.
Collagen is one of the proteins that make up the body or the organic structure that builds bones, teeth, joints, muscles, and skin. Collagen is very often used by the community because it is to maintain healthy skin and maintain skin elasticity. This study aims to determine collagen from bovine bones can be formulated into transparent soap preparations. Bovine bone collagen (Bos sp.) was extracted by immersion using 1N NaOH. The production of transparent soap formulas in several concentrations is 0.5%, 1%, 2.5%, and 5% collagen. The bovine bone collagen yield was obtained 27.5%. Collagen in a variety of concentrations produces different colors and the ability to moisturize the skin. Bovine bone collagen (Bos sp.) was formulated in transparent soap preparations from bovine bone collagen (Bos sp.) with a concentration of 0.5% including the category "moist" and transparent soap preparation from bovine bone collagen (Bos sp.) 1% , 2.5%, and 5% including the category of "very humid" and the results of testing on volunteers showed that transparent soap from collagen in bovine bone (Bos sp.) did not cause irritation.
Kedondong fruit (Spondias dulcis Soland. Ex Forst. Fil.) Is a fruit plant originating from South and Southeast Asia and spread in tropical areas. Kedondong fruit contains vitamins A, B and C, carbohydrates, protein and fat. This study aims to determine the pulp of kedondong (Spondias dulcis Soland. Ex Forst. Fil.) In the form of ethanol extract which can be formulated into a hand body lotion which at certain concentrations can provide a moisturizing effect on the skin and is not irritating. This research was conducted using experimental methods, using the test material of the pulp of the kedondong fruit (Spondias dulcis Soland. Ex Forst. Fil.). The ethanol extract of kedondong pulp (Spondias dulcis Soland. Ex Forst. Fil.) Was obtained by maceration using 96% ethanol filter, then concentrated using a rotary evaporator. The preparation is formulated into a hand body lotion with a concentration of 0.5%, 1.5%, 2.5% and 3.5%, as well as a blank. Examination of the physical quality of the preparation includes, homogeneity test, pH test, emulsion type test, stability test, irritation test and effectiveness test of the preparation in moisturizing the skin and comparing with preparations on the market using the Skin Moisturer Checker (AramÒ) and statistical data processing was carried out using the SPSS 26.00 ANOVA method. The results showed that the pulp of kedondong (Spondias dulcis Soland. Ex Forst. Fil.) In the form of ethanol extract can be formulated into a hand body lotion, a homogeneous preparation with the type of oil-in-water emulsion (M / A), has a momentary pH range. After making 6,6-7,3 and pH after 12 weeks of storage 6,3-7,0, the effectiveness test of moisture preparation at a concentration of 3.5% (Formula E) gave moisture (32%) categorized as "moist" which was statistically showed a significant difference with the comparison results, the hand body lotion that was made did not irritate the skin.
