Spinal hydatid cyst is a serious but fortunately uncommon manifestation of the parasite Echinococcus, involving less than 1% patients with hydatid disease. Intradural hydatid cysts are extremely rare compared to other types of spinal hydatid cysts. We report a rare case of intradural, extramedullary spinal hydatid cyst in a 9-yearold male boy, who presented with weakness of both lower limbs for the last 4 months that was confirmed histopathologically; a better understanding of this rare but clinically challenging disease is intended by reporting this case.

case reported in Wuhan in China, the knowledge about the virus as well as the symptoms produced by the disease have drastically increased to this day. The manifestations of COVID19 have now known to affect multiple organ systems of the body, which have shown to have acute as well as chronic complications. Histopathological analysis of the biopsies from the affected organs have implied direct cytopathic effect of the virus but at the same time not ruling out other causes like hypoxia metabolic changes etc., occurring during the course of the disease. In this review article, we have highlighted the histopathological changes in various organs as reported by various studies throughout the world for better understanding of the etiopathogenesis of COVID19.
Fibromatosis colli or sternocleidomastoid tumor of infancy is a condition of benign proliferation of fibrous tissue within the sternocleidomastoid muscle leading to focal or diffuse enlargement of the sternocleidomastoid muscle and is often clinically associated with torticollis. Radiological imaging especially ultrasound, if performed by an expert radiologist plays an important role in differentiating this benign condition from other causes of neck masses in this age group, thereby preventing unnecessary investigations in a neonate and decreasing parent`s anxiety. We hereby, present a case report of a sternomastoid tumor in a two week old neonate diagnosed using high frequency ultrasound, signifying that every physician should be aware of this clinical entity in a neonate and refer them immediately for ultrasound.
