In early May 2020, the Government of Indonesia announced that the Covid-19 outbreak was categorised as a pandemic and imposed several rules in order to minimise the negative impacts arising from this pandemic. This has caused people's routines to change, especially in terms of travelling and eating. This study aims to determine the online purchase intention and actual buy of food and beverages purchased using an online food application, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. A structural equation model is used to perform the analysis in this research. This study was conducted by sending an online questionnaire to members of the public who were in a work from home or split office situation and had made a purchase through an online food delivery application during the Covid-19 pandemic. The sample used for analysis in the study consisted of 446 respondents. The results showed that subjective norms, e-service quality, and health consciousness had an impact on these online purchase intention activities. However, food and beverage quality is not a factor that can trigger online purchase intentions. On the other hand, there is a significant relationship between online purchase intentions and actual buy, so it can be concluded that the higher the online purchase intention, the more the actual buy will be increasingly realised. Online food delivery service providers and food and beverage sellers can increase promotions to increase online purchase intentions and the frequency of actual buy.
This research investigates occupational stress as mediator of relationship between workload, emotional intelligence and performance of teachers in Probolinggo regency. A number of 198 teachers from both public and private secondary school in the regency were randomly selected. Data collected using questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The analysis on the validity of workload, emotional intelligence, occupational stress and performance instrument gives result above 0.139 (rtable). This tells that all instruments are valid while the reliabilities based on the analysis result in Alpha coefficient of 0.6, which is reliable. The results showed that both workload and emotional intelligence significantly influence work stress and teacher performance, and work stress is able to mediate the effect of workload and emotional intelligence on teacher performance.
There is a growing interest and recognition of Silicon (Si) in plants to increase growth, productivity, and plant resistance. This research examines the role of Nano Silica to increase yield and resistance. This study set out to assess the effect of hydrophilic fumed Nano Silica application with the frequency of 1×, 2×, 3×, and 4× applications respectively with three replications using RCBD as well as SEM-EDX and XRF analysis. Nano Silica frequencies showed a distinctive decrease of damage intensity at the 3× and 4× applications. The rice husk increases of metal-like surface appearance as more Nano Silica frequency was applied. It is proposed that Nano Si induced plant resistance through the modification of surface layer and stronger plant tolerance against environmental stress. The most unexpected observation to emerge was the Ytterbium (Yb) concentration known as a Rare Earth Elements at the 3× and 4× Nano Si applications. This indicates that Nano Silica application provides insights and opportunities to Nano Si application on Rice for the purpose of acquiring Ytterbium from farmland. Nano Silica can play an important role as a new method in addressing the Ytterbium green mining.
