Anahtar Kelimeler: Kendiliğinden yerleşen beton, asidik pomza, taze özellikler FRESH PROPERTIES OF SELF-COMPACTING CONCRETES PRODUCED WITH ACIDIC PUMICE ABSTRACTFresh properties of self-compacting concrete (SCC) produced with acidic pumice were investigated in this study. For this purpose, six different concrete mixtures were designed with water / binder ratio (cement + fly ash) of 0.32 and slump flow diameter of 720±20 mm. While first mixture was produced with totally natural aggregate, other mixtures were prepared by acidic pumice replaced with the coarse aggregate in the proportions of 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100% in the mixtures which were self-compacting concrete incorporating acidic pumice (SCCA). Slump flow diameter, T 500 flow time, V-funnel flow time and L-box height ratio tests were conducted to determine effects of acidic pumice on fresh properties. According to the test results, it was identified that the workability of SCC increased with increasing the amount of acidic pumice.
