: With the emerging world of technology today, image fusion is one of the important factors in various applications, especially in the fields of medical science and remote sensing. By fusing two or more images, we get the useful data required in a particular fused image. Noise and blur factor in images are unwanted data that affects the quality of an image in terms of their clarity. So fusion is one of the best techniques for removing noisy and unwanted data from images. There are several methods for image fusion that can be used to eliminate noise or blur factor that gives the best results as a fused image. In this paper, different techniques have been reviewed, analysed and compared to discover the limitations of multiple image fusion techniques.
