<p>Soybean demand in the market today has not been matched by domestic production. Many of the problems that cause insufficient production of soy, one of which is the drought affecting soybean growth and yield. Efforts should be made to overcome the drought is to provide soybean varieties tolerant to drought stress. This study aims to assess the effect of the difference in intensity of drought stress on the growth of some soybean varieties. This study uses a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial with two factors, the first factor and the second factor soybean varieties drought stress levels. Results showed significant of lowering the value of RGR and NAR. The higher the level of drought stress will decrease soybean growth. Tolerance limits for each variety is at 80% moisture content.</p>
Background: One of the factors that cause sexual dysfunction is the use of hormonal contraception. The hormone progesterone in contraceptives functions to thicken cervical mucus. In addition, the hormone progesterone also facilitates the conversion of carbohydrates into fat so that one of the side effects is causing body weight to increase and reducing sexual arousal which causes an effect on sexual desire. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the use of injectable hormonal contraception and pills on the incidence of sexual dysfunction using a meta-analysis study. Subjects and Method:This study is a systematic review and meta-analysis using the PRISMA flowchart diagram. The process of searching for articles was carried out with a range of 2011-2022 in the Google Scholar, PubMed, Science Direct, Researchgate and Springerlink databases. The keywords used in the article search are "hormonal contraceptive" AND "oral contraception" OR "pills contraceptive" AND "injectable contraceptive" AND "sexual dysfunction" AND "cross-sectional". The inclusion criteria are full text articles with cross-sectional study design, articles using English, multivariate analysis with Adjusted Odds Ratio. Articles that met the requirements were analyzed using the RevMan 5.3 application. Results: A total of 14 articles with a cross-sectional study design originating from Iran, Indonesia,
<p style="text-align: justify;">This study aims to measure the effect of volcanic sand, native sea sand and sea sand washing substrate on the growth and yield of tomatoes, measuring the effect of arengan wood fiber substrate on growth and yield of tomatoes, measuring the effect of the combination of volcanic sand, native sea sand and sea sand washing with arenga wood fiber substrate compared to the growth and yield of tomato. The research was conducted from August to December 2014 in the screen house Faculty of Agriculture, Sebelas Maret University. This study uses a completely randomized design with 1 factors with 14 treatment. The analysis of the data was tested using the F test level of 5%. After that, if the result F tests 5% significant, the analysis continued with DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test) level of 5%. The results showed treatment volcanic sand, native sea sand and sea sand washing substrate produce growth and good results in tomatoes when watering is often done so that the plants do not wilt. Arenga wood fiber substrate treatment resulted in poor growth of the roots and results of tomatoes. Treatment volcanic sand, native sea sand sea sand washing genuine with arenga wood fiber (1: 1) to produce growth and good results on tomato plants.</p>
<p>Lettuce (<em>Lactuca sativa</em> L.) is vegetables with high nutrient content and interest more people, meanwhile producing optimum, yet, therefore, need hydroponic substrate to increase productivity. The orange wood fiber is a waste produced by palm industry manufacturer. The waste of Arenga wood fibers has not used maximum yet, so if it’s piled up will be affects the ecosystem in around. We need to utilize the waste of Arenga wood fiber to be a substrate hydroponic. The aim of this research is to know the maximum of Arenga wood fiber composition in several sizes which is combined with the sands. It’s for increasing the growth and lettuce yield. The method of this research is completely randomized design with two factorials. They are the Arenga wood fiber composition with sand and size of Arenga wood fiber. The main variable of observation is root length, wide of leaves, and fresh weight of lettuce. The result of observation showed that the Arenga wood fiber composition and the sand composition for cultivation lettuce consist of 25% of Arenga wood fiber and 75% (1:3) of various size of sand. The highest root was 12.6 cm and it produced wide of leaves was 1602.3 cm2 and increased the fresh plants until 53.7 g.</p>
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
