This study aims to describe the implementation of character education at the madrasahs and integrated Islamic schools, namely at: SDIT Al-Ghazali, MIN 1 Palangka Raya, SMP-IT Al-Ghazali, MTsN 1 Palangka Raya, SMA-IT Hasanka and MAN Kapuas. The principals, teachers, parents and students were the research informants. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interview, and documentary study. The triangulation was used to check the trustworthiness of the data. The results showed that the implementation of discipline was by giving rewards and punishments according to school rules; honesty by using the Kantin Kejujuran and some CCTV, while hard work by using school assignments, group study and student work. Supporting and inhibiting factors include teachers, parents, students and the school environment. This finding confirms that schools have their own ways in applying character education based on each of their vision, need and condition. Any future research can be more directed at implementing character in Islamic madrasahs/schools, families, and communities so that they are able to provide role models and scientific treasures in this issue, considering that character is very important, especially in this age of character crisis among students.
This article is motivated by the phenomenon of the students of SMPN Satap-1 Kamipang in the form of difficulties in literacy, namely reading and writing the Qur'an, it is necessary to explore how the role of PAI teachers in overcoming the difficulties of these students. For this reason, this article aims to look at the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in overcoming the difficulties of students in al-Qur'an literacy at the junior high school level. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data obtained from scientific journal literature, books, and interviews with a PAI teacher and several students of SMPN Satap-1 Kamipang. The data collection technique was carried out by purposive sampling. The results of the study found that the role of PAI teachers was to overcome students' difficulties in al-Qur'an literacy at SMPN Satap-1 Kamipang. Among them are, motivators (providing enthusiasm and motivation), Counselors (providing understanding to students), Observatory (knowing students' abilities in al-Qur'an literacy), facilitators (providing direct guidance), informers (providing information and directives), and evaluator (give an assessment).Keywords: Literacy of the Al-Qur�an, Student Difficulties, The Role of Islamic Education Teachers
This study aims to find out 1) the perceptions of students of the PAI study program class of 2019 FTIK IAIN Palangka Raya on the application of the Recitation Method during the covid-19 pandemic, and 2) the impact of the application of the Recitation Method during the covid-19 pandemic on students of the 2019 FTIK PAI study program. IAIN Palangka Raya. The type of research used in this study is mixed methods research. The subjects are 161 students of the 2019 Islamic Islamic Education study program FTIK IAIN Palangka Raya and the PAI Homebase lecturer who teaches at the 2019 Islamic State Islamic Studies study program FTIK IAIN Palangka Raya as informants. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, data validation techniques using source triangulation and tabulation percentages, and data analysis techniques using data reduction, presentation, and verification. The results of this study indicate that: 1) PAI students' perceptions of the class of 2019 on the application of the Recitation Method during the Covid-19 pandemic on the cognitive component were in the excellent category with a percentage of 67.1%, the perception of PAI students for the class of 2019 on the affective part was in the perfect type with a percentage 52.2%, the perception of PAI students for the class of 2019 on the conative element is in the ideal variety with a percentage of 69.6% with an average rate of the overall cognitive, affective, and conative components as much as 62.97%. So, it can be said that the perception of PAI students from the class of 2019 on the application of the Recitation Method during the Covid-19 pandemic was in the excellent category as a whole. This can be seen from the responses of students who accept the application of the Recitation Method positively despite various obstacles; PAI students of the 2019 batch still try to do their assignments seriously and as much as possible. 2) As for the impact of the implementation of the Recitation Method during the covid-19 pandemic on students PAI study program batch 2019 FTIK IAIN Palangka Raya consists of positive impacts, namely a) helping to understand the material, b) honing knowledge and skills, c) fostering positive habits, and the negative impact of applying the Recitation Method during the covid-19 pandemic on PAI study program students’ class of 2019 are a) interaction barriers and b) facility constraints.
This article is the result of observations in Darussalam Danu roasted that there are special security studies carried out specifically for adolescents. This study was carried out in an effort to provide spiritual oases for young people in the midst of global challenges. This study was aimed at 1) grabbing the internalization process of adultery education of adolescent education through the Ta'lim Assembly and 2) displacing supporting factors and the inhibition of internalization of the values of the United Darussalam adolescent religion. The research uses the descriptive analysis method, development technique of collecting in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. The subject in this study was an ustadz who taught at the Ta'lim Assembly, while informants were teenagers, adolescents who attended Majlis Ta'lim, community leaders, and peers. Informant complaints using purposive sampling. Data application techniques use triangulation of sources and techniques. The reason for data analysis includes reduction, displaying, and verification. The results of the study represented that 1) internalization of adultery education of adolescent education to instill the tilapia of religious values to adolescents, the method was used cheap modeling model and demonstration, data on the values of religion, worship, and morality. 2) Popular factors include the capacity of qualified teachers and communities. Meanwhile, inhibitory factors include the influence of negative association of adolescent associations and limited facilities of Majlis Ta'lim.
This article is focused on improving PAI learning by using the Critical Thinking model. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive methodology, observation and analysis. In the world of education, of course, it cannot be separated from the role of an educator who builds and creates a better young generation as the successor of knowledge. To achieve these learning objectives, teachers and students must work well together so that the material and knowledge conveyed can be absorbed properly as well. Basically this research aims to focus on cognitive abilities, critical thinking, active, independent and creative. Efforts that can be implemented are improving the quality of PAI learning through critical thinking models.
