"Processing a Task Group: A Continuing Education Committee at Work Planning a Conference" was collectively written by four clinical nurse specialists who comprised the Continuing Education Committee of the Council of Clinical Specialists in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. The article focuses on the group process of the committee as they worked together to plan the First Southeastern Regional Conference for Clinical Specialists in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. You are taken through the beginning, working, and termination stages of a Task Group. Included are creative, maintenance, leadership, structuring norms, interpersonal relationships, goal achievement, and cohesion.
