The Health Information Officer's roleThe role of the Health Information Officer is to manage all the health information for WPHS, including the receipt and processing of Freedom of Information requests, archiving, forms design and clinical classification. The Health Information Officer also trains staff members in the use of HCARe, which is the client management system used in the rural health sector. As this is a sole Health Information Officer position, there are also other, more basic tasks that require completion, including filing.
