We extend the path-integral formulation of Poisson-Lie duality given in [3] to N = 1 supersymmetric σ-models. Using an explicit representation of the generators of the Drinfel'd double corresponding to G⊗U (1) dimG we discuss an application to non-abelian duality. The paper also contains the relevant background and some comments on Poisson-Lie duality. * s.e.hjelmeland@fys.uio.no † ul@physto.se
We derive manifestly locally supersymmetric extensions of the Born-Infeld action with p = 2. The construction is based on a first order bosonic action for Dp-branes with a generalized Weyl invariance. * brinne@physto.se † s.e.hjelmeland@fys.uio.no ‡ ul@physto.se and ulfl@boson.uio.no
Starting from certain 3D non-abelian dual systems, we discuss a number of
related dual systems in 2D, some of which are obtained by dimensional
reduction. The dualities relate massive scalar and vector fields, and may be
relevant for string theory in the context of massive type IIA supergravity.
Supersymmetric extensions of the models are also presented.Comment: 16 pages, Late
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
