The paper contains information on 26 Lepidoptera species from Omsk and Novosibirsk Provinces that are firstly reported from the territory of these Provinces.
A list of 32 species of Lepidoptera from the south part of West Siberian Plain is given. Twenty-five species are reported from the territory of the Omsk Province for the first time, six species are new to the Novosibirsk Province. Eight species are new to the Russian part of the West Siberian Plain. Bucculatrix cristatella (Zeller, 1839) is reported as new for the Asian part of Russia.
Pachista superans (Butler, 1878) (Geometridae) is recorded from Russia for the first time. Three species, Melanchra postalba Sugi, 1982 (Noctuidae), Pseudoips sylpha Butler, 1879 (Nolidae), and Oreta pulchripes Butler, 1877 (Drepanidae) are new for the fauna of the Kuril Islands. The actual abundance and distribution of the rare species Asteropetes noctuina (Butler, 1878) (Noctuidae) is specified.
