A headache, seizures, altered mental status, and vision loss are all symptoms of the clinico-radiological syndrome known as posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES), which is primarily caused by white matter vasogenic edema that affects the posterior occipital and parietal (1) lobes of the brain.
