This study aimed to formulate a model for the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategic management systems in Islamic higher education institutions to achieve the goals they have set in a competitive and dynamic environment. The researchers conducted this study at Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Raden Intan Lampung for nine months, from January to September 2020. This study employed the qualitative paradigm of phenomenology. The strategy to realize excellence is known as the university strategies. The strategies consist of ten aspects: 1) increasing the quality of inputs, 2) increasing superior learning processes and outcomes based on the competency and expertise areas, 3) increasing research and research-based service by emphasizing the significance of the results, 4) improving the quality of human resources, 5) improving students’ achievement academically and non-academically, 6) increasing financial independence, environmentally sound assets, land, and infrastructure, 7) increasing accreditation rankings, 8) mainstreaming information technology as the backbone of credible, accountable, transparent, responsible and just governance, 9) improving cooperation, and 10) improving collaboration with other institutions and universities. This research can be a reference for universities' policy-makers in revising the universities' management.

This study aims to determine wether there is an influence of the learning model Novick assist LKPD on the cognitive abilities of students in class VIII of SMP IT Baitun Nur Central Lampung on motion and style material. The method used is a quantitative method in the form of quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. To determine the cognitive abilities of student and the control class, the Mann Whitney Test was conducted on the SPSS 23.0 program. The result of data analysis show sig values. (2-tailed) of 0.00 which means the value of sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05, which means that the average posttest of the control class is not the same as the average posttest of the experimental class. Thus, it is accepted or there is a difference in the average score of the posttest cognitive abilities of students in the experimental class higher than the average posttest cognitive abilities of student in the control class. Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Novick berbantuan LKPD terhadap kemampuan kognitif peserta didik kelas VIII SMP IT Baitun Nur Punggur Lampung Tengah pada materi gerak dan gaya.Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif berupa penelitian quasi experimental design dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Untuk mengetahui kemampuan kognitif peserta didik kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dilakukan uji Mann Whitney Test pada program SPSS 23.0. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan nilai sig. (2-tailed)sebesar 0,00 yang berarti nilai sig. (2-tailed)< 0,05 yang artinya rata-rata posttest kelas kontrol tidak sama dengan rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen. Sehingga,  diterima atau terdapat perbedaan nilai rata-rata posttest kemampuan kognitif peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari rata-rata posttest kemampuan kognitif peserta didik pada kelas kontrol.

Di dalam penelitian ini, penulis mengkaji tentang kedudukan dhomir dalam surat as-sajdah ayat 1-30 disertai dengan penjelasan tentang metode dan teknik-teknik yang digunakan dalam efektifitas pembelajaran dhomir. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kedudukan dhomir dalam surat as-sajdah ayat 1-30 serta metode pembelajarannya yang efektif. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menjawab persoalan tersebut melalui studi pustaka (Library research) terhadap sumber-sumber primer dan sekunder yang berkaitan dengan masalah dhomir dan metode pembelajarannya.Peneliian ini termasuk penelitian kepustakaan (Library Research), dengan menggunakan analisis ini (content analysis) untuk manganalisa datanya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kata ganti (dhomir) yang terdapat dalam surat as-sajdah ayat 1-30 ini terdiri dari dhomir muttashil, dhomir munfashil dan dhomir mustatir. Sedangkan metode pembelajaran efektif yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran kata ganti (dhomir) adalah metode Qawaid wa Tarjamah dengan menggunakan pendekatan seperti pendekatan manusiawi, pendekatan berbasis media, atau pendekatan  komunikatif. Serta berbagai teknik pembelajaran Qawaid seperti: Muqarat al-Nash, Team Quiz, Tahlil al-Akhta’, Musykilat al-Thullab, dan pemberian latihan atau drill.

This study was focused on exploring the management of Arabic learning at Islamic boarding schools that have different characters, namely Usuluddin, al-Hikmah, and Nurul Huda Islamic Islamic boarding schools in terms of planning, implementing, and evaluating the learning. This research was descriptive qualitative research where the researchers acted as the main instrument of the research. the data was also obtained from other sources, namely the religious teachers, students, scholars, and documents. The data was collected through data collecting techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that there were differences emphasis on the Arabic learning management objectives in the three Islamic boarding schools. The Usuluddin Islamic boarding school emphasized listening and speaking skills where various programs were facilitated to enable the students to speak fluently and listen to routine speeches, Arabic debates, muhawarah, and yaumu al-lugah. At the Al-Hikmah and Nurul Huda Islamic boarding schools, the Arabic learning management emphasized the reading and writing skills as well as translating turas books. It is recommended for the Arabic learning management to focus on four aspects of language proficiency so that the students can be proficient in the comprehensive language (active and passive).

<p style="text-align: justify;"><em>Arabic as a foreign language in its learning often encounters problems. For example, in the aspect of listening skills. To solve these problems, concrete efforts are needed through the development of learning tools or media that can support this difficult Arabic language learning process. This research belongs to the type of Research and Development (R&amp;D) with the ADDIE model with 5 stages, namely the process to analyze, design products, develop products, test processes, and development evaluation processes.  The result of the research is the presence of a learning media product for android-based Arabic language in learning listening skills that can be operated on smartphones for students in grade VIII SMP / MTs. This product has a qualified level of feasibility to be used in learning activities with the results of the feasibility test of 2 types of validation. Namely validation with material expert validators and media expert validators by obtaining an average percentage value of 95% by material experts 95.55% by media experts or in "very feasible" criteria. The results of the assessment of students' responses through the medium group trial obtained 85.57% "very interesting", the large group obtained an assessment of 85.16% with the criteria "very interesting". So the results obtained that the product developed in the study in the form of learning media for listening skills with an android base for students in grade VIII SMP/MTs is very feasible and can be utilized in facilitating Arabic teaching and learning activities, especially aspects of listening skills.</em></p>
