Iron deficiency can cause anemia. Changes in iron status in anemia can affect the immune system, making infection easy. When the number of infections increases, efforts made to overcome anemia are one of them by consuming wheat grass containing iron. This study was an experiment with factorial complete randomized design (CRD). The number of samples was 40 male mice aged 8-10 weeks, weighing 20-30 g which were grouped into 8 treatment groups and each consisted 5 of mice. Treatment K1: not given wheat grass juice (control), K2: not given juice wheat grass after induction of NaNO2 (anemia treatment), P1T: group given 50% wheat grass juice which was planted with soil after anemic treatment. P2T: a group that was given wheat grass juice with a concentration of 75% which was planted with soil after anemic treatment and P3T: a group that was given wheat grass juice with a concentration of 75% planted with soil after anemic treatment. P1H: groups given 50% wheat grass juice planted hydroponically after anemic treatment. P2H: a group given 75% wheat grass juice which was planted hydroponically after anemic treatment. P3H: group given 100% wheat grass juice which is planted hydroponically after anemic treatment. Taking blood was taken before and after giving wheat grass juice for 14 days through the tip of the tail of mice. Data were analyzed using ANOVA followed by DMRT follow-up with a level of 5%. The results showed that the planting medium had no effect on male leukocytes where Fcount> Ftable. Giving wheat grass juice with different concentrations has an effect on Leukocytes where Fcount> Ftable. The most obvious treatment for the wheat grass juice with 100% concentration.
Shoots are important organs in plant growth, because the process of photosynthesis occurs in shoots, especially in plant leaves. Application Trichoderma as a bio fertilizer can increase the growth of shoots of various plants including superior varieties of rice plants. On the other hand, local rice varieties characterized by relatively slow growth Local varieties have not received sufficient attention of researchers to increase their growth. This has an unfavorable impact on preserving that variety in the field. This study aims to evaluate the response of local rice varieties to the application of Trichoderma spp in the seedbed and after transplanting. Two-factor factorial experiment was designed with a completely randomized design. Factor A consisted of 5 local rice varieties and Factor B consisted of 8 isolates and one control. Local variety was obtained from the West Sumtera region and the Trichoderma isolate came from the rhizosphere of lowland rice plants in Solok Regency and upland rice in West Pasaman. Application of Trichoderma spp is done by soaking the seeds with Trichoderma spp isolate. Response of plant height growth to isolates was observed when in the nursery at 2 weeks old and 2 weeks after transplanting. Data were processed by analysis of variance and Duncan's follow-up test at a significance of 5%. The results showed that plant height is influenced by variety when in the seedbed, but was not affected by the application of Trichoderma spp. Although there was no interaction, plant height after transplanting was influenced by varieties and isolates. The best isolate to increase plant height is KRT with an average height of 86.1 cm compared to a control of only 81.5 cm.
The most-high matter of COVID-19 in West Sumatera Province was found in Padang City. Some researchers argue that the environment greatly influences contagion of COVID-19. This research aims to anatomize the COVID-19 climate environment in Padang City in the period March 16th 2020 – May 20th 2022. The study used secondary data in the form of COVID-19 surveillance data, namely the number of patients who were confirmed positive for COVID-19 from the Padang City Health Office and the climate from the Meteorology and Climatology Agency of Padang City. Weather elements include maximum temperature (°C), minimum temperature (°C), average temperature (°C), humadity (%), and rainfall (mm). Data analysis used pearson correlation. The result of the study indicated that minimum temperature and rainfall had a significant relationship to positive matters of COVID-19 in Padang City which were marked with p-values of 0.004 and 0.
