The vegetable crops like methi, palak, radish, beetroot and cluster bean were used as component crops in the intercropping study. The results revealed that the growth characters of cabbage viz., number of leaves at harvest (14.00), plant spread at 30 DAT (1875.88 cm 2 ) and head circumference (44.66 cm) were found significantly higher in sole cropped cabbage. Similarly, yield attributes like weight of heads (1.56 kg/ha), yield per plot (33.27 kg/ha) and yield per hectare (83.19 kg/ha) were found higher in sole cropped cabbage. Analysis of economics (B:C ratio) was highest in cabbage intercropped with methi (5.49) which also recorded the highest LER (1.24).
