ABSTRACT:The dynamic mechanical properties, hysteresis behavior, antivibration, and vibration isolation of blends of epoxidized natural rubber (ENR) and Neoprene (CR) with various blending ratios, were investigated. The experimental results of ENR/CR blends show that the vibration isolation of ENR is better than that of CR, and the vibration isolation of ENR/CR blends increases with increasing ENR content. Based on the data of vibration transmissibility ratio, ENR has better vibration isolation and the CR has better antivibration. Thus, antivibration and vibration isolation are complemented for the ENR/CR blends.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
