Investigation of the steady state photoconductivity of CdS:Cu crystals under electron beam excitation carried out previously /1/ made it possible to determine the hole trap density and energy position, but the role of Cu centres in recombination processes under high excitation was not clarified. For this purpose, in the present work the photoconductivity a s a function of excitation intensity and the photocurrent transients a r e studied in CdS with different Cu content.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
