Nitrkled 11.7% and 97.1 % molybdena-alumina catalysts have been investigated using temperature-programmed reaction with hydrogen (TPR) and diffuse reflectance FTlR connected toa mass spectrometer with the aid of XRD analysis. From the TPR and XRD analyses, y-Mo2N was formed on the surface of the 1 1.7% and 97.1 % Mo/A1203 nitrided at 700°C.On the basis of the NH3-TPD and IR spectroscoples, much more Lewis acid sites than Bransted acid sites are present on the surface of the nitrided molybdena-alumina.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
