Furthermore, the artery-vein crossing does not explain the great number of cases of ilio-femoral thrombosis that present on the right side. Thus it could be inferred that in a woman with white leg of pregnancy on the left side the main cause may well be a hostile iliac artery, whereas in one with white leg on the right side the main cause is almost certainly something else.
