Lymphogranulomatosis (synonyms: Hodgkin's lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease) is a malignant disease whose characteristic cytomorphological feature is the presence of giant multinucleate Reed-Sternberg (Wright) cells and Berezovsky cells (Kraevsky N.A., Golovin D.I.). These cells are diagnostic for microscopic examination of affected organs.

А case of rare pathology - Takayasu’s disease in a middle age patient has been presented. Morphological changes in the organs and their correlation with data of clinical and instrumental methods have been described. The article shows the complexity of lifetime diagnosis verification and the difficulty of diagnosis of this disease on a concrete example.

Ewing's sarcomas are rare neoplasms which comprise about 1% of all sarcomas. Сortical bones are usually affected. Cranial bones are rarely involved and are 1-6% of all Ewing's sarcoma cases. The article presents a case of a rare pathology - Ewing’s sarcoma of the temporal bone in a 36-year old woman and describes the morphological changes in the flat bones of the skull and the adjacent soft tissues of the head and their interconnection with data of clinical and laboratory and instrumental methods of investigation. Complexity of the lifetime diagnosis verification without histological and immunohistochemical confirmation has been shown on a concrete example.

Представлен анализ ближайших результатов проведения лечебного плазмафереза как метода экстракорпоральной терапии у пациентов с дислипидемиями, прогностически неблагоприятными по развитию атеросклероза. Показана высокая эффективность, безопасность и удовлетворительная переносимость данного метода терапии.

The article studies the changes of antioxidant activity of blood serum and intestinal content in experimental animals 12, 24, 36 hours after simulated acute intestinal obstruction (AIO). The experiment included 77 adult male inbred albino rats, which were included into trial (n = 27) and control (n = 50) groups. AIO in the rats is accompanied by inhibition of antioxidant properties of the serum and intestinal content, the development of endotoxemia already within the first day of AIO. The animals with AIO have unidirectional changes of the antioxidant status in the serum and intestinal content, but later occurring with greater intensity. These data show the need for application of antihypoxic oriented drugs in the comprehensive therapy program of AIO treatment.
