Abstract:Changes of bacterial population of following two conditions were studied during soil freezing seasons in the field vertical distributions in soil, and differences among winter wheat rhizoplane, rhizosphere soil, and non-rhizosphere soil. Bacterial viable count and ATP concentration of different soil depths were related to the process of soil freezing and thawing.Viable count of rhizoplane apparently decreased in the process, while those of rhizosphere soil and non-rhizosphere soil did not.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
