PC-monitor or TV systems can be exposed to eavesdropping compromising information as caused by unintentional emissions of digital video signals such as DVI, HDMI etc. This study is modeling the emanation mechanism for pixel information of display device at the digital video interface and variation of text image reconstruction rate according to SNR for eavesdropper's receiving equipment. The simplified simulation methodology is available to analyze the effectivity of jamming technique as countermeasure for eavesdropping. In this paper, a partial band noise jamming is proposed, and it is shown that 1~3 GHz bandwidth jamming with relatively small power can be a very effective solution in the environment of PC-monitor using digital video signal interface to prevent eavesdropping leakage display information.
