PurposeInvestigating the influence of intensive distribution and sales promotion towards customer-based brand equity, repurchase intention and word-of-mouth (WOM) (study on Suzuki car owners in PT Surya Batara Mahkota Wilayah Nusa Tenggara Timur).Design/methodology/approachThe research was conducted in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) and the analysis unit was customers of PT. Surya Batara Mahkota NTT (PT SBM NTT) as the owner of the Suzuki car. The population is 1,782 Suzuki car owners who bought their cars from PT SBM NTT, based on data from 2015. The sampling technique is the multi-stage area sampling.FindingsIncentives distribution had significant and positive influence towards brand equity and repurchase intention. Sales promotion had significant and positive influence towards word-of-mouth (WOM), but it did not have influence towards brand equity. Brand equity had significant influence towards repurchase intention and WOM. On the other hand, repurchase intention did not have influence towards WOM.Originality/valueThe originality of this study was that the researchers did not find a previous study that discussed the relationship between intensive distribution and repurchase intention, between sales promotion and WOM and between customer-based brand equity and WOM. Previous studies used different variables as determinants of positive WOM.
The purposes is to determine the effect of workload, compensation and organizational commitment to employee performance. The method is used to explanatory research by collecting information directly from the respondent, technical sampling took by stratified proporsional Random Sampling, which using the formula from Slovin to obtained sample of 116 people from a total population of 163 people. Data analysis method used to descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis which in this study using path analysis (path analysis). The result showed that there is a significant and positive effect between work load on organizational commitment, there is no significant effect and negative between workload on employees performance, there is a significant and positive effect between compensation for organizational commitment, there is a significant and positive effect of the compensation on employees performance, and there is a significant and positive effect between organizational commitment to employees performance
The purpose of this reserach was to gain corporate level strategy for PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III that lead company becoming a champ in competition and provide a sustainable growth. The object of this research is PTPN III (Persero). This type of applied research use a quantitative approach. Method survey conducted by distributing questionnaires to the respondents as the primary data. Purposively selects respondents (purposive sampling). FDGs also conducted by five men palm oil industry players to determine the weight ang rating values on EFE, IFE, CPM, and QSPM Matrix. Secondary data were obtained from the company internal documentation and other relevant data sources. This research uses STEEPLE and Porter's Five Forces Model analysis approach to analyze the company external environment. For the Internal analysis using Value Chain analysis approach (VCA) to analyze its internal resources. Research tools used for strategy analysis are: SWOT, SPACE, BCG, IE, Grand Strategy, and QSPM Matrix. The research found that the strategy for PTPN III palm industri is Product Development Strategy and Foward Integration Strategy. Recommendations policies at the operational level that supports the selected strategies, includes: changes / additions of the company capital structure, the expansion of oil palm land area, development / downstream palm oil products that provide value-added products, and bench marking as a means of preparing HR and The best technology.
