It is an indisputable fact that technology is a part of our lives. It is known that research and education technologies are concentrated. By examining the articles and dissertations published in the field, the scope, strengths and weaknesses of the studies were determined. An important gap has been filled in to guide researches what kind of studies may be needed in the future. Many studies for this purpose were found in the literature. However, since similar studies dealing with educational technologies are outdated, this study is considered important in terms of gathering current research trends and results. The aim of this study is to analyse the articles published in the Scopus database on educational technologies and instructional technologies, thematically and methodologically. The study was designed by adopting a case study from qualitative research models. The sample has not been determined for postgraduate dissertations to be included in the study, and it was aimed to reach the whole universe. In this context, all articles have been accessed through the library system of the university in the Scopus database included. The keywords ‘educational technologies’ and ‘instructional technologies’ were used in the article search. The document types have been examined by year, by country, by authors, by field research and by place of publication.
In this research, it is aimed to determine the effect of the attitudes of postgraduate students towards scientific research and codes of conduct, supported by digital script. This research is a quantitative study, and it has been formed according to pre-test & post-test research model of experiment and control group. In both groups, lessons were performed in the ways of distance education on the YDU-UZEM system and co-education. Besides, the experimental group was supported by digital scripts. Course materials have been shared through the system onto each group’s own page. The distance education lessons were performed simultaneously and non-simultaneously. The simultaneous lessons were performed through Big Blue Button virtual class add-in, and non-simultaneous lessons were performed through chatting panel and integration of the recorded lessons onto the system in order to review the lessons whenever needed. In the both groups, there are 40 (80 in total) postgraduate students from the programs of the institutions of Near East University. The groups were designated, as a result of achievement test applied as a pre-test before the study, homogeneously in accordance with their school numbers with regards to success and gender; that the ones with school numbers of which last digits are odd number are the control group, and the ones with school numbers of which last digits are even number are the experimental group. In order to collect the required data, research-directed attitude scale was used after getting required permission. The obtained data were analyzed with appropriate analyzing techniques. With the findings acquired from this research, it is concluded that there is a meaningful difference in favor of the experimental group supported by the digital scripts after examining the both groups’ attitudes towards scientific research and ethics.
The human resources unit in universities has planned training for academicians and directors. With the transition to distance education during the pandemic peri-od, face-to-face training has started to take place online. With this study, online training was planned for the administrators in the administrative department of universities. The opinions of the managers about online training are critical. Man-agers’ views were consulted on the effectiveness of online training. In this study, a qualitative research method was used to reach detailed results. The study group of the research con-sists of 18 administrators in the administrative department of the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation, Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia and Russian New University. The application was carried out in the ‘online manager development programme’ for 3 weeks in the 2020–2021 fall semester. In order to access the data of this study, the interview form developed by the researchers was used as a data collection tool. While preparing the interview questions developed by the re-searcher, the opinions of four experts in the field were taken and the questions were finalized. Con-tent analysis was used in the analysis of the data. The find-ings obtained as a result of the research are given in detail in the findings and re-sults section.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
