The Three-Rivers headwater region (TRHR), located in the eastern Tibetan Plateau, is a complex collage composed of multiple accreted terranes (e.g., Songpan-Ganzi, Eastern Qiangtang, Western Qiangtang, Yidun, and South China) bounded by several sutures, which mark the closure of the eastern Paleo-Tethys Ocean (Figure 1). Many studies have suggested that the drift histories and amalgamation processes of these terranes involved continental-continental collisions (e.g.,
