The possibility of applying nanocellulose as additive in the production of plywood is considered. This involves its activation by physical methods (ultrasonic treatment and PMF). Increase in the strength of the resulting material by increasing the strength of the adhesive joint is experimentally established. But in this case, the strength of the adhesive joint was higher the strength of birch veneer sheets, veneer pack was amplified with basalt material. Studies have also shown that replacement of the two plies on the basalt fabric beneath the outer layers of plywood, gives an increase in tensile strength by adhesive seam compared to the control sample by 220 %.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
