To respond to the need of suitable materials for students of Library Science Department of Universitas Negeri Malang, this R&D project was designed to produce audio speaking materials using CLIL approach for blended learning. The method of development covered three main stages: exploring (identification and exploration of needs), developing (pedagogical realization of the product), and validating using peer review, practitioners’ validation, media expert validation, and try out. Three innovations were produced in this study: (1) Competence- CLIL-Based Speaking Syllabus completed with a speaking assessment instrument covering a speaking prompt and a scoring rubric, (2) audio materials accessible through Edmodo, (3) and a module for Speaking activities. The results show that the materials are suitable for the students’ communicative needs, interesting and meaningful for them. They also make learners motivated to learn
This paper analyzes the role of international interest rate, money supply, inflation, SBI rate (Sertifikat Bank Indonesia) and GDP on the lending rate. We use the Error Correction Model on Indonesian yearly data from 1983 – 2002 and confirm the significant of these explanatory variables as the determinant of short and long term credit lending rates. These findings conforms the necessity for Bank Indonesia as monetary authority to take into account the external factors and support the integration of domestic and foreign financial market.Keyword: Error Correction Model, Interest rate, Financial market, Money Supply, Lending rate.JEL: C22, E44, E51
Through the Regenerative Shock Absorber (RSA) mechanism, wasted energy will be utilized into electrical energy. Hydro-Magneto-Electric Regenerative Shock Absorber (HMERSA) was designed and analyzed with 2 generator outputs installed in series and parallel. The twin-tube shock absorber was modified, so that fluid flow in the chamber is only unidirectional flow. It is passed to four check valves that keep the fluid flow in one direction and towards the 2 hydro-generators installed on the system in series and parallel positions. The hydro-generator converts the linear fluid flow into a rotational motion which causes the generator to rotate and generate energy. HMERSA was tested on minibus with speed bumps types of roads. In the bump test, the harvested energy were 8.2 Volts and 5.97 Volts for HMERSA with 2 generator outputs installed in series, and 5.169 Volts and 4.33 Volts for HMERSA with 2 parallel output generators. From the result, we can conclude that HMERSA with 2 generator outputs installed in series is better than HMERSA with 2 parallel output generators.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
