İş yaşam dengesi, son yıllarda hem akademisyenlerin hem de işletme yöneticilerinin dikkatini çekmeye başlayan bir konu olmuştur. İş yaşam dengesizliği, bireylerin tutum ve davranışlarında önemli değişikliklere ve olumsuzluklara neden olmaktadır. Bu nedenle çalışanın iş yaşamı ve ev yaşamı arasında bir denge kurma arzuları kaçınılmaz hale gelmiştir. Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, yazında iş yaşam dengesi diye geçen bu olguyu temel alan 17 si tez, 19 u makale olmak üzere, ulusal yazın kapsamında toplam 36 çalışmanın içerik analizi ile incelenmesidir. Bu araştırma ile son 20 yılda olduğu gibi bugünde önemini kaybetmeyen iş yaşam dengesi kavramı ile ilgili yazındaki çalışmalar incelenecek ve literatürün eksik kalan ve tamamlanması gereken yönleri vurgulanacaktır.
This study was conducted to confirm the thesis of "happy employee=productive employee" in an academic setting in which the working hours and workplace is not as clear as in other workplace settings that the aforementioned thesis was handled in. Thus, the pioneer aim was to investigate the relationship between workplace happiness and perceived academic performance. Based on the possible relationship, it was to analyze the moderator effect of emotional intelligence and mediator effect of work-life balance with sub-dimensions respectively. The study was conducted in 42 universities locating in Central Anatolia Region of Turkey with 1136 academicians. In analyzing data, hierarchical regression analysis was conducted. The results showed that workplace happiness positively affected perceived academic performance directly. Moreover, this effect became stronger with emotional intelligence and its three sub-dimensions. Besides, three sub-dimensions of worklife balance partially mediated this relationship. This research make theoretical contributions to literature by validating the thesis also in academic setting and the mediating role of work-life balance, opposite to that of the literature. It also has some practical contributions to universities by showing how to improve performance.
In such a competitive business area, companies which are especially pioneers in the sector try to develop sustainable and competitive strategies to retain their positions in the market. In this purpose, in literature many theories have been developed. Because each of those strategies have their own strong and weak sides, developing new strategical analyses keeps on. In this research an integrated model of SWOT (StrengthsWeakness-Opportunities-Threats) Analysis and Porter's Five Forces Model has been used to develop a competitive strategy model for a business firm in food sector by DEMATEL (Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory) and ANP (Analytic Network Process) techniques. Based on results, in regards of relative important items those are related to strengths and opportunities in competitors force which have considerable weights in the global weights table, maxi-maxi type competitive strategies have been developed for the company.
The purpose of this article is to review the business management field evolution from 2000 up to date and to map the conceptual, social, and intellectual structure of the research in this field. Data were collected from the WoS database, comprising 12,145 articles published between 2000 and 2022. Several bibliometric techniques were applied, including analysis of co-words, co-citation, bibliographic coupling, and co-authorship networks in addition to performance analysis. VosViewer and the Bibliometrix/Biblioshiny packages were used to perform the analyses. Besides revealing the evolution of the business management field, the results identify the most active and influential authors, articles, journals, and topics in this field.
