Water discharge is a measure of the amount of water volume that can flow or be disposed in a place in one unit of time. The research goal is to calculate the amount of water discharge and the bill for every use of water that has been used by the customer. Monitoring the use of water discharge will use the IoT (Internet of Things), with a microcontroller as a processor or input and output processing of the sensor used. The sensor used in this plan is the water flow sensor using ESP8266 module through the Internet as a data communication between tool and software. The data transmitted is water discharge in each use of 10 litters. This research will use prototyping method to know about the use of water and the price that must be paid each month from customer’s phone. The form of application is web that is created for the admin (Server) and Android application for the customer. On the next process, this design can be directly applied for the use of calculation of discharge and the bill for local government.
An availability of a parking place in the shopping centre remains becoming a problem since the vehicles often enter the parking area without being sure about the available parking space left in the parking lot. This research was intended to design information system regarding the availability of parking place for the vehicles when entrancing the shopping centre. Through this information system, the entering vehicles will just need to go to the available parking place. This research employed prototyping method by using microcontroller as input data processor, Inductive Proximity sensor, Wi-Fi module, and Web application. When vehicles come into the parking lot A, the sensor will provide the data on the Arduino about the available parking place in the parking area A, and then the data will be sent to the Web application by using Module Wi-Fi so that the web for the parking place A will get information about the availability and the unavailability of the parking place in that parking area. There will be also a description about the available parking place on the other parking places such as in the parking lots B and C. Through this research, the parking place for the vehicles will be more well-organized and the vehicles will be eased to look for an available parking space when they go into the shopping centre.
A recipe is a description given by a doctor about a medicine and its dosage. Currently the recipes used are still using manual recipes that are written by hand. The most common weakness of manual recipes is the handwritten recipe which is difficult to understand. Most of the patients do not understand the doctor's writing, except the pharmacist . An electronic recipe is a recipe given by a doctor in the printed recipe of a recommended medicine. The purpose of electronic recipe is the recipe can be read clearly by the patient and also by the pharmacist. In addition, electronic recipe can also make it easier for patients to pay for medicines at the cashier. If in manual procedures the patient has to queue 2 times at the checkout, using an electronic prescription, the patient only needs to queue once at the cashier, which is when paying for medicine only. The method used in this research is the Prototype method, and using website for its interface. From this research, the results show that the application built on the website is 100% well run and usable. This is obtained from the results of 30 respondents who tried the application.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
