This research elaborates on the communication strategy of the security forces, especially the military, in assisting the Ciamis local government, the activity in question is the holding of simultaneous head elections. Because there are still few studies on the military in Indonesia, the location research in Ciamis tries to fill this gap. The unit of analysis used is the theory of mass communication and the concept of communication strategy. This study uses a qualitative focus method on the phenomenon of simultaneous village head elections in 72 villages in Ciamis Regency. This study found that there are two categories of military strategic communications. First, a social communication strategy that is open and closed or called clandestine. Second, mass media and social media communication strategy. There were two important events that were able to attract the attention of the public and the mass media, namely during the readiness call for the security forces for the village head election on March 25 2022 and the holding of simultaneous elections for 72 villages on March 27 2022

Rekrutmen calon kepala daerah merupakan bagian dari proses politik di internal partai dalam menghadapai Pemilukada. Seleksi kandidat merupakan "secret garden" bagi setiap partai, selain itu proses seleksi terkadang mudah dipengaruhi oleh kekuatan lain di luar partai politik. Demikian juga yang terjadi pada proses seleksi kandidat bakal calon kepala daerah di DPD PKS pada Pemilukada di Kota Tasikmalaya tahun 2017. Penelitian ini untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian "Bagaimana metode seleksi dalam rekrutmen politik calon kepala daerah oleh Partai Keadilan Sejahtera pada Pemilukada di Kota Tasikmalaya 2017, Faktor apa yang mempengaruhi perubahan pengambilan keputuan bakal calon kepala daerah oleh PKS". Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan, menganalisis seleksi kandidat, serta menjelaskan faktor yang mempengaruhi perubahan pengambilan keputusan bakal calon kepala daerah dari PKS. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan seleksi pada PKS ditentukan oleh elit partai. Pada tataran lokal seleksi terlihat demokratis sedangkan pada tataran DPW dan DPP sangat dipengaruhi oleh elit partai dengan model seleksi yang tertutup. secara umum proses seleksi kandidat pada PKS menunjukan derajat non demokratis.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of money politics on people's political participation in the 2019 Legislative Election in Banjar, West Java. The results of this study are expected to provide strategic recommendations that can contribute directly to problem-solving for the KPU in Banjar City in making decisions, especially regarding money politics in Banjar. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach, data collection techniques with literature studies, and field studies with questionnaire instruments. The number of samples was 399 respondents who were part of the Permanent Voters List for the 2019 Banjar Legislative Election using the Proportionate Stratified Sampling technique. The data analysis technique in this research is to use the product moment analysis method. The results of the study show that the condition of money politics (Money Politic) carried out by unscrupulous candidates for the 2019 Banjar City DPRD legislative candidates found that 23% had been offered money or goods; Community political participation in the 2019 Legislative Election in Banjar City was highest based on sociological factors with a figure of 80.5%. The magnitude of the influence of Money Politic on political participation in the 2019 Legislative Election in Banjar City is 4.40%. The practice of money politics has no significant effect on public participation to actively participate in the 2019 Banjar City legislative election, the survey results explain an implementation that if there are legislative candidates who practice money politics to the public/voters, the money is received but does not guarantee that the public chooses the person. the legislative candidate.

Recruitment of regional head candidates is part of the political process within the internal party facing the General Election. Candidate selection is a "secret garden" for each party, besides the easy selection process by other powers outside political parties. This study answers the research question "What is the method of selection in the political recruitment of regional head candidates by the National Mandate Party in the General Election in Tasikmalaya City 2017". This study attempts to review, analyze candidate selection. The theory used is the theory of candidate selection from Rahat (2001). The results of this study indicate that the election in PAN is determined by party elites. Selection is also superior by the strength of "local strongmen" and large financials. The process of selecting candidates in the PAN shows a degree of semi-democracy. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa seleksi pada PAN ditentukan oleh elit partai. Seleksi juga dipengaruhi oleh kekuatan “local stronge man” dan financial yang besar. Proses seleksi kandidat pada PAN menunjukan derajat semi demokratis. Tidak terpilihnya kader internal PAN bukan disebabkan kader yang maju tidak berkualitas, akan tetapi proses seleksi kandidat dipengaruhi oleh local stronge man, dan kekuatan financial yang besar.Kata Kunci: Partai Politik, Rekrutmen Politik, Seleksi Kandidat, Pemilu.
