Algoritma Viola-Jones merupakan salah satu algoritma yang sering digunakan untuk mendeteksi wajah. Sistem pengenalan wajah manusia merupakan salah satu teknologi penting yang berfungsi sebagai sistem keamanan, sistem kontrol, dan lain-lain. Hal ini sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui penerapan algoritma Viola-Jones dalam mendeteksi penggunaan masker Covid-19 di Politeknik Perkeretaapian Indonesia Madiun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu menganalisa teknologi digital cctv dengan menangkap sebuah objek gambar diperlukan informasi kejelasan suatu objek. Dalam metode penilitian pendeteksi wajah menggunakan metode algoritma Viola-Jones. Hasil penelitian pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat keberhasilan pendeteksian wajah sekitar pada jarak 1-2m dengan tingkat akurasi mencapai 95,5% dan nilai error sebesar 4,5% dalam mengenali wajah manusia.
Odonate diversity in East Java was surveyed, and samplings were made during 2 years in ten sites along an altitudinal gradient. The characteristics of odonate assemblages in East Java were analyzed regarding of the number of individuals, the number of species, and Shannon's diversity index. The differences in abundance, species richness, and diversity between study sites were analyzed by an independent t‐test. There were 3270 individuals of Odonata belong to 30 species, 7 families and 2 suborders identified from all study sites. The abundance, species richness and diversity of Odonata varied between study sites. The greatest abundance of Odonata was found in Malang Coban Talun (MCT) (148.8 ± 9.5), while the lowest was in South Beach Forest (SBF) (14.4 ± 3.6). The highest species richness and diversity was found in Malang Paddy Field (MPF) (richness =14.4 ± 0.8 and H′ = 2.4 ± 0.1), while the lowest was found in South Coastal Area (SCA) (richness =2.8 ± 0.1 and H′ = 0.4 ± 0.1). A significant positive correlation was detected between the elevation and overall odonate abundance (P < 0.05), while there was not significant correlation between that and odonate species richness and diversity.
Design of Landslide Potential Warning System and Land Shifting Using Telemetry Method: According to the 2019 BNBP Performance Report, landslides are the fourth most frequent disaster in Indonesia, so we need a telemetry tool for land shifting. This system consists of ATMega328 Microcontroller, Linear Variable Differential Transformer sensor and rheostat, accelerometer sensor, rain gauge tipping bucket, and HC-12 wireless communication module. Normally, LVDT sensor reads ground shift in the 0-20 mm range, rheostat shifting up to 66 mm, accelerometer sensor reads data less than 20 deg and rain gauge tipping bucket sensor generates the amount of rainfall below 50 mm/hour which is sent data regularly to user. Warning alarms installed in these prone area will sound if the LVDT sensor reads ground shift30 mm, rheostat51 mm, accelerometer sensor reads data more than 45°, and rain gauge tipping bucket sensor reads more than 70 mm/hour. Sistem ini terdiri atas Mikrokontroler ATMega328, sensor Linear Variable Differential Transformer dan rheostat, sensor accelerometer, sensor rain gauge tipping bucket, dan modul komunikasi wireless HC-12. Normalnya, sensor LVDT membaca pergeseran tanah pada range 0-20 mm, rheostat mampu melakukan pergeseran hingga 66 mm, sensor accelerometer membaca data kurang dari 20 deg, dan sensor rain gauge tipping bucket menghasilkan jumlah curah hujan dibawah 50 mm/jam yang kemudian data dikirim secara rutin ke user. Alarm peringatan yang terpasang di daerah rawan tersebut akan berbunyi jika sensor LVDT membaca pergeseran tanah 30 mm, rheostat 51 mm, sensor accelerometer membaca data lebih dari 45 derajat, dan sensor rain gauge tipping bucket membaca data lebih dari 70 mm/jam. The environment is very important to society, because it is interconnected between living creatures and surrounding areas. The implementation of a clean and healthy environment needs to be implemented early. In its application environmental awareness can be applied in elementary school. Elementary school age children need to be aware of wasting garbage in their place. The types of garbage that exist in the community environment are very variant, so it is necessary to be known and chosen by the child in throwing. The method of implementation of make a match method using image media and question and answer. Results showed that elementary school-age children were enthusiastic in cultivating environmental awareness and simply having an understanding of the environmental conscious attitude. In addition, the child has an understanding related to the types of garbage in the surrounding environment.
