This paper aims to proves that the diversity of minority attributes in a person becomes the main capital in winning direct political contestation through election; or indirectly through unilateral appointment. It is characterized by five Muslim politicians who are able to sit in political office with the capital of political biography, social biography, and or intellectual biography. This research uses three methods in the form of political biography, social biography, and intellectual biography. Political biography consists of opinions or thoughts expressed by David Hanlon (2015); and opinions or thoughts of Anastasia Astapova (2016). The social biography used in this study refers to the thought of Smiljka Tomanović (2012). The intellectual biography used in this study is based on the thoughts of Damián Omar Martínez (2013) and the thinking of Thomas Hylland Eriksen (2015). The study was limited to five Muslim politicians comprising Jilani Chowdhury (Mayor of London, 2012), Ahmed Aboutaleb (Mayor of Rotterdam, 2008), Muhammad Salique (Mayor of Tower Hamlets, London Raya, 2008-2009), Erion Veliaj (Mayor of Tirana, 2015 ), Sadiq Aman Khan (Mayor of London, 2016), and Hadia Tajik (Norwegian Minister of Culture, 2012). This study is limited to the study of European Muslim Politicians in the perspective of a major theme. This study is also limited during the study that took place in Europe in 2012 until 2016
This research is aimed at studying the role of the Muhammadiyah Association in global relationships based on slogan, watchwords, plans, and Islamic activities. This study uses a communication and media approach as an effort to discuss a Muhammadiyah organization in the era of globalization. The perspective used in this study is the perspective of "globalization" carried by Gill Branston and Roy Stafford with an analysis of the steps of cultural imperialism, free market and global analysis. This research proves that the higher the level of Muhammadiyah's active involvement and translation in socializing and contributing at the global level makes the position and role of this International Non-Government Organization proof and is obtained by many people.
This study proves that Arabic as an identity and as a connector between the contemporary Arabic literary products and economic changes. It can be concluded that the more faded the use of Arabic, the various Arabic cultural and literary products will be degraded and even eliminated; and the magnitude of the value of economic changes that cannot be detailed will be a deficit, especially in the field of creative industry and translation. This research is aimed to explore the significance and relevance of cultural products to the East-an. This research uses library method in the perspective of data gathering and qualitative method in data reduction perspective. The perspective used is the perspective of globalization. Stages of analysis related perspectives used are the placement of the global arena, symbiotic mutualism, and technological involvement.
This study discusses the attitude of corruption based on the perspective of al-Qawāid al-Fiqhiyyah. Corruption is a symptom of a dilemma because of its position not only as an extraordinary crime, but also as a human actualization to feel the hierarchy of needs. This requires a subjective attitudeprimordialist-dogmatic in the form of Islamic views with a jurisprudential (fiqh) approach and perspective of al-Qawāid al-Fiqhiyyah in addressing the two symptoms of the dilemma. The attitude and view of al-Qawāid al-Fiqhiyyah to the punishment of corruption by methodology is done by six categories of rules (major theory) consisting of fourteen applied rules (minor theory). This paper concludes that the attitude of corruption criminal cases can be done with five things; the completion of the Highly Political Cost System, confirmation and tightening of law enforcement, alleviating the economic factors of the government apparatu, to sharpen and culture the hedonism and consumerism, and religious moral preservation. Korupsi merupakan gejala yang dilematis karena posisinya tidak hanya sebagai kejahatan luar biasa (Extraordinary Crime), tetapi juga sebagai aktualisasi manusia untuk merasakan hirarki kebutuhan (hierarchy of needs). Hal ini menuntut penyikapan secara subjektif-primordialis-dogmatis berupa pandangan keislaman dengan pendekatan fiqih berperspektif al-Qawāid al-Fiqhiyyah dalam menyikapi dua gejala yang dilematis tersebut. Penyikapan al-Qawāid al-Fiqhiyyah terhadap hukuman tindak pidana korupsi secara metodologi dilakukan dengan enam kategori kaidah (teori mayor) yang terdiri dari empat belas kaidah terapan (teori minor). Tulisan ini menyimpulkan bahwa penyikapan terhadap kasus hukuman tindak pidana korupsi dapat dilakukan dengan 5 hal. Pertama, penyelesaian sistem Highly Political Cost. Kedua, penegasan dan pengetatan terhadap penegakan hukum. Ketiga, mengentaskan faktor ekonomi aparat pemerintah. Keempat, membijaki dan mengarifi budaya hedonisme dan konsumerisme. Kelima, pelestarian moral agama. Kata kunci: korupsi; hukuman; tindak pidana; al-Qawāid al-Fiqhiyyah A. PendahuluanKorupsi adalah kejahatan sekaligus tindak kriminal yang luar biasa yang menjamur dan terlestarikan dengan baik di beberapa belahan dunia, termasuk negara-negara berkembang 1 seperti Indonesia. Pandangan Jon S.T. Quah memperkuat hal tersebut (melalui penelitian enam negara di Asia) dengan menyatakan korupsi sebagai way of life yang telah mendarah daging dalam banyak aspek kehidupan bermasyarakat.
