The zero drift is judged to be acceptable for arterial pressure measurement because a change of 3 mmHg is not clinically significant. The 15% bandwidth is judged to be adequate for fluid-filled pressure monitoring systems. It will be advantageous to couple the disposable dome to the reusable transducer when the disposable dome has a positive pressure.
