The ways of using coffee grounds as fillers for biodegradable polymer material and dishes from it is shown. Research of chemical, physical, mechanical and operational properties of new high-filler composite based on polylactide are carried out. It is also noticed, that using coffee grounds as fillers for polymer materials can decrease the total volume of it at landfills faster than any other method of coffee ground reuse.
Sorption resistances of environmentally friendly polymeric materials in different liquid mediums are studying in this work. As part of environmentally friendly polymeric materials based on polylactide, OK compost HOME plastic and coffee grounds sorption studying in different liquid mediums, the most stable compositions were identified in terms of size stability and diffusion coefficient. microscopic analysis of new environmentally friendly polymeric materials before and after exposure in operating liquid mediums was made and compositions with the least surface changes were determined.
This paper presents the results of new composite materials based on polylactide and coffee grounds sorption characteristics study. New material, that include coffee grounds as additive material is cheaper than one of common polylactide. All types of dishes cam be made from new material and they also will be biodegradable, as made from polylactide. The sorption properties and characteristics were tested in different liquid medium. The last was chosen among the most wide spread mediums which are contact with dishes during its operational life. It was found, that optimal content of coffee grounds is 40 wt.% as for level of impact strength also for complex of sorption characteristics.
Research on improving petroleum bitumen complex properties by modifying them with polymeric elastomers in the form of rubber waste are given in this article. The purpose of the research is to create a bituminous-rubber composition with an increased set of thermo-physical and physical-mechanical characteristics. The effect of bitumen modification with waste rubber crumb and powder in combination with the addition of taurite on the melting temperature, the degree of crosslinking, toughness and heat resistance of the compositions was studied. The optimal composition of bituminous-rubber compositions modified with taurite with high thermo-physical and physical-mechanical characteristics has been determined.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
