The discussion presented in this chapter has been developed from literature describing the use of crop-soil simulation models as educational tools in developed countries, as well as in less developed countries. The wider experience of simulations and computer-assisted learning tools used in other subjects has also been important here, in developing an understanding of how best to use crop-soil simulation models for education and training.
