Pt/NaY was prepared by the aqueous ion-exchange method and investigated by EPR spectroscopy. After reduction with H 2 using a static system, an orthorhombic EPR signal was observed with g 1 = 2.531, g 2 = 2.322, g 3 = 2.062, coaxial with the hyperfine components a 1 = 64.9 G, a 2 = 74.6 G, a 3 = 72.6 G; this signal is assigned to Pt + ions. Typical cation sites for location in the supercages are excluded for symmetry reasons.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
