A series of 46 chalcone derivative compounds with their inhibitory activity against colorectal cancer were used as data set for developing the quantitative structure activity relationship (QSAR). 2D QSAR and 3D QSAR models have been developed with high predictive ability with r2 and r2(CV) of 0.81 and 0.78, respectively. Results from the 2D and 3D quantitative structure activity relationship models indicate that electrostatic parameter enhanced bioactivity of the chalcone derivatives. Further, docking and molecular dynamic simulation was performed using 2wft PDB ID as the molecular target of colon cancer. Based on the docking, molecular dynamic, and biological assay, it is confirmed that compound 2, cpd 4, cpd 21, cpd 23, cpd 27, cpd 32, cpd 38, and cpd 39 show better activity (active) against colorectal cancer cells.
A study of comparison between warfarin dose with achieving target INR in patients withPenelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan metode anova satu arah yang jika bermakna dilanjutkan dengan uji post hoc.
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a kidney disorder that continues to increase the globally and its also irreversible. Hemodialysis (HD) performed by CKD patients with severe conditions. Quality of life is one indicator of the success therapy patients CKD with HD. In addition to clinical conditions, the characteristics of patients can be affected to the quality of life. The aims of this study is to see the effect of the characteristics of CKD with HD of the Score Index utility. Its were measured using the EuroQuality of 5-dimensional 5 levels (EQ-5D-5L). The study was performed with the observational conversion using a cross sectional design in the CKD population in Pekanbaru hospital. The EQ-5D-5L questionnaire is given to 122 patients to measure the score utility. Different index score utility based on the characteristics of the tested patients using Mann Whitney and Kruskal Wallis. Based on the study, the average value of Pasa Pasa patients with HD patients was 0.24 ± 0.27. Dimensions of anxiety / depression and pain / discomfort of 6.56% with very severe problems and 2.46% could not move. Based on the anysis results, there are differences in utility values based on age characteristics, education levels, and commorbids (p <0.05).
Quercetin possesses low solubility and decreases oral bioavailability. One way to increase the bioavailability of quercetin is by formulating a self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery system (SNEDDS). In vitro dissolution testing of SNEDDS needs to be carried out using a validated analytical method. This study aims to validate the quercetin analytical method in in vitro dissolution testing. Validation was carried out with two solvents, namely hydrochloric acid buffer pH 1.2 (HCl-1,2) and phosphate buffer pH 6.8 (PO-6.8). It tested some parameters, including linearity, detection limit (LoD), quantification limit (LoQ), accuracy, and precision. The quercetin calibration curve for both solvents has a value of r≥0.999. The LoD at HCl-1,2 and PO-6,8 were 0.26 ppm and 0.27 ppm, respectively. The LoQ of HCl-1,2 and PO-6,8 were 0.86 ppm and 0.91 ppm, respectively. The percentage recovery in both solvents was in the range of 80-110%. The relative standard deviation of the two solvents was less than 7.3%. The quercetin analytical method has been successfully validated as indicated by the results of linearity, detection limit, quantification limit, accuracy, and precision that met the requirements
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
