Die Bestrahlung von Dodekamethylcyclohexasilan (I) in starren Kohlenwasserstoffgläsem wie 3‐Methylpenten, Methylcyclohexan oder Decalin bei 77 Koder in einer Ar‐Matrix bei l0 Kliefert, wie bekannt, Decamethylcyclopentasilan (II) neben einer neuen Verbindung (III), die nach IR‐ und elektronenspektroskopischen Untersuchungen als die Titelverbindung identifiziert wurde.
