1998 ceramics ceramics V 1540 16 -275 DC-Plasma-Assisted Synthesis of Diamond and Alumina Using Liquid. -The new method involves the generation of a plasma between the substrate (electrode) and the liquid phase under a constant applied voltage. The deposition above the liquid surface of a water-ethylene glycol solution (80 mol%) yields diamond on the anode substrate under 1350 and 1450 V (graphite block as cathode).
