Series of Sonic Sheet Tester models are now widely used in paper industry for analyzing fiber orientation in order to control paper quality.SST-3000 has been developed as the latest model to realize improvement of runnability and labor saving with its automatic measuring function for strip sample in addition to the sheet measuring facilities already provided with the former models.It is much more useful for measuring C/D orientation profile.We hereby introduce outline of SST-3000 and applicable use for its functions.
