This case report illustrates the importance of careful Doppler interrogation of pulmonary artery (PA) and pulmonary artery branches in a standard Echocardiographic examination, which can be easily missed or ignored when using portable hand-held device as this is usually a focussed examination. A comprehensive echocardiogram with dedicated superior vena cava (SVC) and detailed Doppler analysis of the PA added crucial information in the early diagnosis and expedited the commencement of life-saving therapy in a 38-year-old female patient with lymphoma.
