[reaction: see text] Palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction of triarylbismuths with aryl bromides, iodides, and triflates proceeded efficiently in the presence of K(2)CO(3) or CsF.
Hypervalent organobismuth compounds efficiently couple with aryl bromides in the presence of [Pd(PPh3)4] catalyst. Application of this protocol to a one‐pot multicoupling reaction with bromophenylboronic esters leads to the formation of up to nine bonds in good yields (see scheme).
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
