This research aims to evaluate the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) on sustainable energy development (SED) by developing the role of mediating variables such as usage of renewable energy resources (URR) and sustainable energy supply (SES). We use qualitative and quantitative technique such as Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to analyze the data of collection from experts, economists, executives in Vietnam in 2020. The study has proved the corporate social responsibility (CSR) affecting directly to the sustainable energy development (SED). Besides, the findings suggest a positively significant impact of both sustaining energy supply (SES) and the usage of renewable energy resources (URR) on sustainable energy development (SED). Thus, the research brings the whole view of corporate social responsibility affects to the sustainable energy development (SED) through the URR and SES. This study contributed empirical work in the literature of corporate social responsibility, renewable energy, sustainable energy supply (SES) and sustainable energy development (SED). The outcomes of this study can be used by policy makers, economists, top management in the governmental office and even the corporate. A mediating role of SES as a value-added contribution to this study and can be consolidated and strengthened more in coming research.
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a growing issue in emerging markets. This study aims to evaluate the impact of CSR on firms' performance by exploring the role of mediating variables such as corporate reputation (CR) and customers' purchasing intention (CPI). We use the quantitative technique of Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) techniques to analyze the data of the small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs) from the Southern Vietnam in 2020. The findings suggest a positive and significant impact of corporate/ social responsibility on firms' performance through mediating role of CR and CPI. This study contributes to the literature on corporate social responsibility and firms' performance of SMEs in the emerging country context. The outcomes of this study can be used by entrepreneurs, top management as an attempt to boost the performance of the SMEs in emerging markets by applying CSR measures for sustainable competitive advantage. A mediating role of corporate reputation (CR) and customers' purchasing intention (CPI) as a valueadded contribution to this study.
This research is aimed to evaluate the impact of renewable energy on sustainable economic growth (SEG) by developing the role of mediating variable such as sustaining energy supply (SES). We use qualitative and quantitative technique such as Covariance -Based Structural Equation Model (CB-SEM) to analyze the data of collection from experts, economists, executives in Vietnam in 2020. The study has proved the five components of renewable energy such as solar energy (SEN), hydro energy (HEN), wind energy (WEN), bio energy (BEN) and geothermal energy (GEN) impact to the SES. Besides, the findings suggest a positively significant impact of sustaining energy supply (SES) on sustainable economic growth (SEG). This study contributed empirical work in the literature of renewable energy, sustaining energy supply (SES) and sustainable economic growth (SEG). The outcomes of this study can be used by policy makers, economists, top management in the governmental office and even the corporate. A mediating role of SES as a value-added contribution to this study and can be consolidated and strengthened more in coming research.
Energy efficiency (ENE) is a growing issue in emerging countries. This study aims to evaluate the impact of ENE on sustainable development (SDE). By this research, we have developed constructed variables that contribute to energy efficiency such as usage behavior (UBE), energy resources (ERE), construction design (CDE), appliances, equipment (AEQ), and maintenance (MCE). We use quantitative technique such as Smart PLS SEM to analyze the data of the small and medium size enterprises (SMEs) of Vietnam in the year 2020. The findings suggest a positive and significant impact of energy efficiency on sustainable development. This contribution has also confirmed the contribution of usage behavior (UBE), energy resources (ERE), construction design (CDE), appliances, equipment (AEQ), and maintenance (MCE) affecting to energy efficiency in emerging country. This study contributes to the literature of energy efficiency and sustainable development of SMEs in emerging country context. The outcomes of this study can be used by entrepreneurs, top management as an attempt to boost the performance of the SMEs in emerging markets by applying energy efficiency measures for sustainable development as a value-added contribution to this research.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
