The concept of readability, which provides the interaction between human and environment, has become a very important issue with the proliferation of information and gradually creating chaos. Environmental graphic designs, which present information in a more understandable and perceptible way, is an interdisciplinary design field with strong valid subheadings. In this article, environmental graphic design, which has functions to increase readability, orientation, information, meaning, perception and sense of place, has been examined and it is aimed to bring a sensitive approach to daily life with a sample application. The dimensions of the signage designs, which have an important place in the campus of Afyon Kocatepe University, their locations, their coming together and the color, typography and harmony features applied on the signs have been the subject of this research. These designs were analyzed in terms of usage characteristics and solution suggestions were made. Quick Response (QR) code system, mapping and Augmented Reality (AR) augmented reality applications that facilitate access to information, provide visual integrity, and make the user feel safe and belonging while creating information and guidance functions according to the principles of the graphic design discipline are presented as suggestions.
