Applying the experimental method of one group pretest-posttest design. Applying the purposive sampling method, 15 children in group B were found as data sources. Data were collected using structured observation techniques, document analysis, and applying multiple regression analysis to test hypotheses. The results of the study found that there was a partial and simultaneous positive effect on the application of the storytelling method and picture word card media on the language skills of children aged 5-6 years. So it can be concluded that there is a positive effect of applying the storytelling method and picture word card media on the language skills of children aged 5-6 years. The implication of this research is that PAUD educators can apply storytelling methods and picture word cards in learning to improve the language skills of children aged 5-6 years.
